Is it weird if we say that mailmen are dogs’ best friends? Who says that dogs necessarily hate mailmen? The truth is that they receive special training to defend themselves from dog attacks, and as a rule they avoid them if they can. But for every rule there are exceptions, even if it is hard to find them, and therefore, imagine that they even exist. But when you find them, they make the rule a stereotype. And for this particular stereotype, here is an exception that challenges it.
This man from Sao Paulo, Brazil, is called Cristiano da Silva Antunes, and on social networks he calls himself Carteiro Amigo Dos Animais, the animal-friendly mailman in English. He has always liked to break the stereotype that dogs hate mailmen, and every time he succeeds, he takes a picture with them. And not only with dogs, this man makes friends with any animal he meets. He greets the neighborhood cats, rabbits and other types of animals.
