Brazil is undoubtedly a country full of biodiversity, offering a glimpse into the world for the variety of plants and animals that exist throughout the territory, since in addition to containing a large portion of the Amazon rainforest, Brazil has a forest biome tropical that covers the east, southeast and south coast of the country, called the Atlantic Forest.
The surprises are such that, in the Brazilian territory, it is possible to find one of the most abundant diversities of birds in the world! The avifauna in Brazil comprises a total of 1822 confirmed species, of which 238 are endemic. Not to mention the ones that have not yet been catalogued, just to give you an idea.
Due to the vastness of Brazilian biodiversity and easy access to wildlife, our country has become a viable destination for bird photographers from around the world: an example of this is the photographer known as Supreet Sahoo , who took this opportunity to photograph the species that you will meet in this matter.
Our country is home to extraordinarily different areas, ranging from the vast Amazon basin to the largest natural wetland area on Earth, the Pantanal, to unique Atlantic forests that are home to some of the most endangered animals on the planet. In addition, it is possible to contemplate several other habitats, including rain and mountain forests, salt ponds and coastal vegetation, by way of example. How rich is our Brazil, isn’t it?
In order to contemplate a little more about the preciousness of our country, below you will meet some of these species that have been photographed from the Atlantic rainforests to the coasts of Rio de Janeiro. check this out:
