Dogs love us without conditions.
They don’t care if we live on the streets, if our house is dirty, if we haven’t showered in days. Dogs don’t care if we don’t have a job, or a car.
Dogs care only about the love that you can provide. And food and water of course.
Their loyalty is yours forever, even when you betray them. That fact alone is why we don’t deserve them.
This poor little fella, never really got the chance to have unconditional forever love. Until now.
He was attacked by his mother at only 13 days old. The attack almost proved to be fatal, but instead it left him partially blind and with a disfigured face.
Hey there Brodie!
Meet Brodie, a German Shepherd/Border Collie mix.
Before Brodie found his forever home, he was once adopted by another person. Unfortunately things didn’t work out, as the former owner couldn’t keep up with his endless energy.
So, he was put up for adoption at the Old MacDonald Shelter in Alberta, Canada.

Then came Amanda Richter and her boyfriend, Brad Ames.
Once their eyes met Brodie’s, they embraced him with open arms.
In fact they adopted him on the spot. They didn’t think twice about his disfigured face, they chose to only see his heart.
His eyes are so warm. I love it.
Brodie had finally found forever unconditional love.

Amanda and Brad decided they’d dedicate an entire Instagram account to Brodie and his life with them.
In some of their videos he’s joyfully playing with a ball, on others he’s getting tons of head scratches and you can honestly say he’s paying no mind to what his face looks like.

Requests from his fans poured into his account to see Brodie as a puppy, knowing the pair didn’t have any, they decided to reach out to his former owner to see if they did.
They were in luck!

When Brodie went viral, many swarmed his social media account with their love and support.

He’s too adorable!
His oh so grateful owners quickly posted their thanks for the outpour of support, and strongly encouraged others to adopt animals like Brodie.
