Dora is a cute cat, but her favorite food is hay. It’s because she has a best friend, a sheep named Charlie, who taught her how to eat hay. These two just want to be together, and they are definitely best animal friends.

Charlie and Dora were both rescued by the same family, but Dora lived there first. They found her when she was just a tiny kitten. Dora was a curious little cat, so when the baby Charlie arrived, she was very curious about the new member.

At first, Charlie was sick and needed some help, so Dora decided to become his caretaker. She always watched over him to keep him happy and comfortable. Thanks to love and care of Dora and the family, Charlie started feeling better and healthier.

And soon, Charlie was strong and became a playful baby lamb. He loves his sister Dora and loves to hang out and play with her all the time. When Charlie got too big to live in the house, he had to move outside with all the other sheep.

At first, Dora was so sad, but she soon realized that nothing would keep them from being together. It is clear that nothing can change their love as they are best animal friends forever.

The Ecuadorian hillstar is such an outstanding hummingbird! It is famous for its striking glittering violet-purple hood, dark olive-green upperparts, and white belly with a horizontal black stripe at the middle.

It also has black feathers on the outer wing and blue-green feathers on the center of the tail.

Like many other species, the female Ecuadorian hillstar looks a bit duller than the male. She is covered with a dusty olive-green above and pale grayish below. She also has a whitish throat speckled with brown spots. Her tail also lacks blue-green feathers.

Ecuadorian hillstars are very tiny. They weigh approximately 8.0 g and are about 12 cm long.

These birds are native to the Andes of Ecuador and far southern Columbia at altitudes of 11,500 to 17,100 feet. They have a stable population and prefer living in grassland, scrub, and stunted woodland areas.

This hummingbird dines mainly on nectar, especially from the orange-flowered Chuquiragua shrub. But they also eat small insects and spiders.

The female Ecuadorian hillstar builds her cup-shaped nest in a bush, shrub, or small tree during the breeding season. This nest is made from plant fibers, feathers, and green moss. She then lay one egg in the nest, incubates it, and feeds the hatchling until fully fledged, around 20 days.

To make sure that the cute and playful trio wasn’t bothered or interrupted by his lens, Valtteri stayed at a shelter that was 50 meters (164 feet) away from them.

From that distance, he snapped beautiful moments of the bear cubs. They were seen standing in a round, holding hands and dancing. They looked like little kids who were playing cheerfully in your backyard.

Every dog deserves to have a healthy life and to be loved and cared for. Sadly, there are so many dogs struggling in the wild or the streets. Some are lucky to live in shelters and to wait for being adopted. But not all of them are lucky enough to find their forever home.

Bella is a two-year-old lurcher who has lived her whole life in RSPCA, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. RSPCA took her into the shelter when she was a baby. Due to being hard to get along with other dogs, Bella doesn’t get adopted and has to stay at the shelter for a long time.

Specialists believe it’s because she is a stray and lacks some social experiences. But thanks to the staff at RSPCA, Bella is on her way to rehabilitation and will find her forever home very soon.

Despite being unfriendly with dogs, she is still an adorable dog and gets along well with humans. She enjoys her toys and finds comfort while playing with them. She has a big stack of toys, and Winnie the Pooh is her personal favorite.

We may have heard about many stories of the special bond between humans and animals. Some can brighten your day, some can even make you cry. But one thing these stories have in common is that they bring us hope, giving us a more optimistic view of the world where we live in. The story below is a great example.

Darius Sasnauskas lives near Yellowstone National Park. One day, in the morning, Darius witnessed a rare scene in his life, a mother deer gave birth to two baby deer right in his backyard. Unfortunately, one of the baby deer had an injured leg, she couldn’t stand walk normally and was left behind. Knowing this is not a safe place for the fawn to stay, Darius decided to take her home to treat her wounds until it heals and then release her back to the wild. As a wildlife lover, Darius is not in favor of treating wild animals as pets, but this is a special case, he must save the fawn’s life.

Things seem to be going pretty well for Darius as he already has experience taking care of his dogs. He tried to take care of the fawn as well as possible. He treated her injured leg and fed her every 3-4 hours. Luckily, the baby deer, after being cared for by the kind-hearted man, recovered very quickly. She is now able to walk normally and has a special affection for Darius and his two dogs.

When the baby deer is fully recovered, Darius decided to return her to her mother. He put the fawn into a box and brought her to a large grass to find her family. It took a long time for Darius to direct the fawn’s attention to her mother.

It seems that the time Darius took care of the fawn formed a special bond between them. The fawn refused to go back to the wild when Darius left her alone in the grass. She kept following him. Darius would miss his little friend, but he was determined to help the baby deer reunite with her family. It was the only way for her to survive in the wild.

Dogs are known for being loyal and smart, and this is proved in many stories. And for people who still have any doubts regarding their loyalty, the tale of love between two pets below will prove, once again how awesome dogs are.

Tillie the Irish setter-spaniel mix and Phoebe the basset hound had been out for a walk together on Vashon Island, Washington. Unfortunately, they went missing and didn’t return. Their owner contacted Vashon Island Pet Protectors to ask for help. VIPP volunteers prefaced the following dog rescue with a lost dog notice on Facebook.

After a week of searching, they received a call from a person who noticed a reddish dog on his property. He told that “for the past few days a ‘reddish’ dog had been coming up to them when they were out on their property and then promptly heading back into a ravine.” The volunteers decided to go check it out with the hope that they could find the two dogs.

Fortunately, the team found the two animals. Phobe got trapped into a cistern deep in a remote ravine and was able to get out. However, Tillie refused to leave her side, until humans came to rescue her. They quickly discovered that Tillie tried to find some helps during all that time.

“When I got there and looked down, Tillie saw me but didn’t come running up,” Carey, one of the volunteers said. “She just stayed near the edge of this cistern, pressed with her head as close as she could get. Had she run up, we might have never realized that Phoebe was down there. She just stayed put, making it so clear that I had to come to her so I would see her friend.”

Despite missing for a week, the dogs were both in good health. They were reunited with their owner who couldn’t hide her happiness when saw them!

His little face can show so many distinctive and vivid emotions, and people have nicknamed him as the Cat-King Of Bleps. He is now living his best life with his owner Dasha Minaeva.

Before finding love and safety in Minaeva, he was abused and badly mistreated by his previous owners. He has a broken backbone, so he can’t control his two back legs. At first, Minaeva gave him a custom wheelchair to help him go around. But Rexie tried his best to use his two feet. Now he can walk and run without the custom wheelchair.

Eric Ralston is a principal sanitarium corpsman in the US Navy. In March of 2012, he left for a scheduled 9-month deployment. A month after he was stationed, his dog Kermie, an 11- time-old Lab-Beagle-Chow Chow, was diagnosed with oral carcinoma. Doctors believed that she’d at most two or three months left to live.

“ We were devastated to say the least,” Jennifer Ralston, Eric’s wife, said. “Kermie was our first child, and we didn’t suppose Eric would ever get to see her again.”

However, Kermie was not ready to go until she saw Eric again and said farewell to him. Despite having a short time left to live, she tried her best to fight cancer and wait for her dad to return home from his deployment.

It had been three months since Eric deployed, his brave dog still fought with cancer to wait for him. Seeing her effort, the family determined to help her see Eric one last time. As Eric’s employment came to an end, the family began to hope that Kermie would get to see him again.

12 days before Eric was due home, his deployment was extended indefinitely. Ralston feared Kermie wouldn’t make it until Christmas when Eric would finally come home. However, Kermie continued to try.

A few days before Christmas, Eric returned home and Kermie was there to welcome him. She was caught on video sprinting from the house and into Eric’s arms. She couldn’t hide her happiness to see Eric. Eric’s return brought happiness into Kermie’s life before she passed away and had a new life in heaven.

“ His return was some kind of magic lozenge for her,” said Jennifer. “ She began eating and drinking again, without struggle.” Kermie soon was celebrating her 12th birthday in January, but by February she made a turn for the worse. “ When good days came good hours we knew it was time,” said Jennifer.

On February 22nd Kermie lost her battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home and the love of her family. She will be forever loved and missed by her family. Kermie the Dog – January 28, 2001 – February 22, 2013.
