Man Finds Starving Dog On Deserted Island And Saves His Life

One day, a photographer named Wesley White was traveling to Belize for business purposes and was looking forward to a beautiful trip.

On day one of his trip, he took a kayak out to a small island in Thatch Caye, this is when he saw a starving dog walking around.

He was all skin and bones, yet he was still very friendly, “Out of the corner of my eye, I saw his tail wagging,” Wesley told The Dodo.

Wesley called out in the hope of finding some people but there was nobody around, it was deserted, and the dog didn’t look like he had another day left.

So Wesley did the decent thing and put the dog in the kayak and took him back to the hotel to feed him.

Once he arrived back at the hotel, he called for help, and he certainly got it. Eventually, he got the dog fed and so he took him to the vet.

It was bittersweet for Wesley, as he was glad the dog got the help he needed but was sad that he had to leave Belize soon.

The vet did keep in contact with Wesley, the dog was recovering and was preparing to move to a foster home.

Two months into his foster-home stay, Wesley brought the dog a plane ticket so the pair could be reunited.

Wesley adopted him and named him Winston! Now he is happy in his new forever home, what a beautiful story!

Stray Dog Cuddles 10-Year-Old Girl Lost In Freezing Temperatures To Save Her Life

A ten-year-old girl who went mission from her home miraculously managed to survive a snow blizzard by cuddling a stray pup for warmth.

Vika was found clinging onto the stray fluffy dog after a desperate search by police and volunteers.

She was found with frostbite around half a mile from her home after she had gotten lost on her way back from school.

Temperatures on the night she was found reached -11C said the local police and if it wasn’t for the fluffy stray pup, she surely would’ve frozen to death.

The blizzard caused up to 2ft deep snow in some areas with the snow piling up to the first floor of some houses.

Vika was found 18 hours after she started walking home from school, while ‘hugging a fluffy dog for warmth.’

She was found at 8:45 am the day after she went missing, holding the stray while laying down on a mattress under the shelter of a balcony.

Once found, she was found to have mild frostbite and rushed straight to the local hospital.

Vika (pictured) had got lost half a mile from her home as she returned from school in Uglegorsk in temperatures that plunged to minus 11C, said police

“The girl loves animals very much, she used to play with local dogs all the time.”

“She went to feed these dogs after school and then got caught in the snow storm and strong winds.”

Vika was allowed to go home that very same day to a very relieved mother. Now their are plans to ‘honor’ the stray if it can be found.

Mother is named Kala and is 9-year-old.

“Nine-year-old Kala gave birth naturally, overnight to the infant with dad, Jock, just a few meters away and the rest of the family troop nearby,” Bristol Zoo wrote.

“We are all thrilled,” Lynsey Bugg, Curator of Mammals at Bristol Zoo, has said. “There is something very special about seeing a new-born baby gorilla; they are such an iconic and charismatic species.”
